How to Install Low Voltage Landscape Lighting To install low voltage landscape lighting and give your home's exterior a high-end, custom look, you will need the following: - Low Voltage Wire / Long Wire (not included in this set) - Low Voltage Wire Connectors (12 included in this set) - Low Voltage Transformer (not included in this set)

To connect the two short wire strands that extend from each light to the long wire, first split the long wire into two strands, then tap the metal prongs of the wire connectors directly into the long wire and tighten. Slide the two short wire strands from each light into the wire holders on the connectors and tighten.

To attach the long wire to the landscape lighting transformer, use a wire stripper to remove about 1/2" of the plastic wire casing, then insert the bare wire into the slot on the transformer and use a screwdriver to tighten the metal screws that clamp down on the wire.
